Defined by its distinctive, translucent bell shape, the fixture draws its name and inspiration from the moon jellyfish (Aurelia aurita). It floats effortlessly against the surface, emitting a soft, otherworldly glow that provides both direct and diffused ambient illumination.

Materiality & Craftsmanship

The Aurelia Surface Sconce is available in two distinct material families, each offering a unique interaction with light:

• Cast Glass: Hand-poured at the prestigious JamFactory in Adelaide, Australia, the thick cast glass features a striking bubbled texture. When illuminated, this texture enhances the organic, "jelly-like" effect. Each piece is unique, with celebrated variations in size, bubbling, and natural surface marks inherent to the handmade casting process.

• Onyx Stone: Available in White Onyx or Jade Onyx, sourced from Turkey. The stone is carefully machined to highlight its natural translucency. The Jade Onyx features a milky green hue with distinct rust-colored veining formed by natural mineral deposits, while the White Onyx offers a classic, concentrated white marbling. Due to the natural variations in the slabs, every stone sconce is one-of-a-kind.
